Newsom is not a good dude. It’s just that the bar is so fucking low in US politics these days, there are a lot of people who look at him and think he’s not half bad. But make no mistake - he’s a neoliberal corporatist, and is lately trying to ham-fistedly lean into populism. Huge “how do you do, fellow kids” vibes.
Accurate, live in the area and I've noticed he guts any protections laws as soon as his corporate sponsors say anything. He's a useless wet paper towel trying to impersonate a seatbelt.
Dude probably only owns one skateboard.
