Politicians need to interact with the community, even at the very least to show up places and shake people's hands and meet their children. Convicted child abusers are just about the worst possible choice for a job like that. I'm not saying their lives have to be over, they did their time paid for the crime, but then be a political adviser in the background, work on strategy in offices where there are no children. It's just so batshit insane we have these paedos in all these public facing jobs, and yet important wealthy people trust them around their own kids and the public's kids, it makes me feel like I'm the one going crazy!!
