Kinda related, about a week ago I finished all these video essays from a particular channel that covers obscure late 90s/early 2000s point and click adventure and survival horror games and started thinking about a game called "D" and started looking for similar videos on that game without being able to find much.

Yesterday, not really looking for anything in particular I see an hour long video about "D" popup in my front page... And it was the freaking GameGrumps. Like, no hate or anything cuz I do like the guys, but cmon. I wanted an essay going into detail about the history of the game (because it has a pretty gnarly origin story) and the universe seemed to have heard me asking, but monkey pawed my ass. ๐Ÿ˜ž

EarlyBird

Of all the reviews she has done, the only one I had any prior knowledge of was The Neverhood. I am shocked at how many of these adventure games I definitely would have loved if I knew about them back in the 90s.
