All of this—doling out relatively cheap dress shoes to a group of people disproportionately populated by billionaires, signing the boxes, inspiring fear of reprisal for wearing your own wingtips instead—is strange enough. Stranger still, though, is that the shoes (in some cases, very obviously) do not fit.

I think Trump can't imagine why anyone else wouldn't think exactly like him. That's why he serves McDonald's to White House guests and he gives out gifts that he likes, even when it otherwise makes no sense. It's also why he accuses everyone of things that he would do, like lying, cheating, and taking credit for things that he never did. Also stealing elections.

Textbook malignant narcissism.
