The Rules

Posts must be:

  1. Links to news stories from...
  2. ...credible sources, with...
  3. ...their original headlines, that...
  4. ...would make people who see the headline think, “That has got to be a story from The Onion, America’s Finest News Source.”

Please also avoid duplicates.

Comments and post content must abide by the server rules for Lemmy.world and generally abstain from trollish, bigoted, ableist, or otherwise disruptive behavior that makes this community less fun for everyone.

And that’s basically it!

Its also like they all hate undocumented immigrants but only hire them for work.

My dad used to removed about immigrants taking jobs, but would swing by Home Depot to grab some Mexicans whenever he needed extra hands on a construction project. Conservatives are just hypocritical morons.

EDIT: Wow, this place bans the no-no synonym for the word "complains"? What in the seven nanny hells is that.

Everybody can run a Lemmy server. That includes people who do not know the Scunthorpe problem.

I can say "bitch" just fine btw

Well I am a bit new to this but I guess I will find a new server if they are going to police my speech like that.

Isn't the Scunthorpe Problem when something gets unintentionally blocked? This seems very intentional.

[–] ratsnake@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 19 hours ago

I assume the term "bitch" got blocked because in one context, it is a sexist insult.

The thing is, it wasn't used in that context here.

So to me, this is at least spiritually adjacent to the Scunthorpe problem.
