BS you can't get a DWI in a private parking lot.

You absolutely can. You can get a DWI while just sitting in your vehicle in a parking lot with the engine off.

My dad got arrested and charged w dui in his friend's kitchen because the cops found his turned off car on the side of the road one winter night and followed his footsteps half a mile to his friend's house. They busted him cuz he left the keys in the ignition.
