That's why I have music nicely sorted out in separate directories.

Well, OK, the "nicely" is debatable. I have ripped some 3 CDs a few months ago. I have them sorted alphabetically right now, but it bothers me every single time I listen to music. Should I sort them alphabetically or based on track No.? Almost all of my music is sorted alphabetically, and those which are by track No. are in their separate directories, unlike these CDs.
But what's the correct way? I am damn indecisive. Track No., alphabetically, which is better? Neither. Neither feels correct when there's both.

For fucks sake, why not release alphabetically sorted albums? That would solve this. At least for albums where track order doesn't matter, which is most of them. (Although what if I don't have songs from that group only from that specific album? Hmm, it would still be better,...)

Or hold on. I could also... no. No, I will not think about sorting them chronologically.

I sort all music by track number exclusively, can't be sure if it's better or just my preference. iMO the artist released it in a specific order for a reason, even if the songs don't fade into each other for example.
