Rimu made it pretty clear:

And here's how Piefed is seen by fascists:

Piefed is a political answer to the fact that communists have a strong foothold on Lemmy and the devs are communists. In accusing the communists of being "authoritarian," though, Rimu implements social credit scores, blocks left wing news sources and calls them "right wing," all manner of disinformation and manipulation to protect liberalism. Meanwhile, Rimu keeps good company in the Nazi bar.

i remember that goat, he's the one that created a community dedicated to complain about marxists lol. rimu is going to create a software that no one wants to use, not only tankies.

That goat is also a Zionazi, but hey! Better a Zionazi than an actual leftist, amirite? (/s just in case)

[–] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 27 points 5 hours ago (2 children)

Yep, that comment from Rimu to goat is in that community itself actually. And agreed, Rimu is killing Piefed.

Good riddance.

also, calling us degenerates. yeah, pretty sane person thing to do, not at all something the nazis used to say

[–] hamid@crazypeople.online 24 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Yep lol, totally not suspicious at all.

Tbf, I've used it to describe Nazis and Nazi - adjacent.

Another badass version of this is from Omar Mukhtar:

You really shouldn't, I understand the sentiment but it has fascist roots.

[–] Maeve@kbin.earth 4 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

I understand. Perhaps "debased?" "Debauched" doesn't quite capture it since a lot of fash/adjacent actually probably live cleaner than I do, sometimes (as in affordability and an occasional indulgence in unhealthy things like a cookie or ice cream).

[–] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 7 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

I just like saying fash, Nazi, or sometimes get funky and throw in "rogue" or "ghoul."

[–] Maeve@kbin.earth 7 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

Works. Stay on my butt about it if you see it, until a new, improved habit forms, please!
