I appreciate your honest curiosity/inquiry. The world is more complex than what it seems (and certainly more complex than "Russia bad, NATO good"), and I doubt anyone can competently hold all this info in their head, so stay safe out there and remain curious.
I think that is the best description of the clusterfuck of a world we have.
No one can keep the competing rivalries and poor choices leading to worse ones straight in their heads. Thousands of years of people being absolute morons to each other, and no one will ever unty the gordoan knot.
