You miss all chances you don't take. And yeah, I'm fully aware in the wrong context it becomes super creepy. But tbh a lot of flirting is creepy...

Maybe she says something more modest like "oh I used a new shampoo".

There are ways to avoid flirting being creepy, asking before trying, asking for feedback, leaving an easy exit.
