Nothing tiktok is doing is different from the FAANG and other tech companies. The only difference is they are keeping their data within US borders (or at least 5eyes) whereas tiktok is sending data back to China.

So as we can see, its not whether or not data collection and privacy invasion is BAD, its just a matter of who is privvy to it.
