Anyone know of good non roguelike deckbuilders?
Inscryption is fantastic.
I'll check it out thank. I've heard good thing about it, but I thought it was a roguelike.
It has roguelike elements similar to Slay the Spire, but that's that's not what I like about it.
Mild spoiler
That's just a misdirection for what the game is actually going for, in a similar way that the "Dating Sim" description is a misdirection for Doki Doki Literature Club.I will say it has a distinct ending, unlike Slay the Spire.
It's a great game to go in blind for, so I'm not going to go into too much more detail.
I just stated playing it and... It's just a roguelike? I don't get what you mean.
Then you need to keep going. Look for things to do outside of the normal gameplay. There's more to the game than what's initially presented.
::: spoiler I searched around the room, completed few puzzles and I got the film roll (which I'm guessing is used to win the game, since the slime says to defeat "him"), but I'm not seeing anything else. :::
Figure out the film roll thing and you'll see what I'm talking about.
