Meta runs Facebook.

Meta also runs Threads.

Threads runs on top of the ActivityPub protocol.

Some instances federate with Threads.

How is it not relevant if they're willing to buy a company and hijack traffic for numbers, what won't they do when they can just spin up a server and syphon data?
