They removed the post about how Hilary's campaign supported Trump and made up a rule on the spot about not being recent. The first rule they noted as an excuse states:

Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

which has nothing to do about being recent nor any other rules. They simply censor any valid critiques of certain politicians which is very dangerous, especially for a community that big.

Nope. You lose the account. You lose your community. Can't wait until someone comes up with a solution to this. Not sure if it is technically possibly with lemmy to switch over to a system that allows for this or not.

U can download then upload ur profile so the communities u follow, saved posts, pfp (didn't work for me idk why) etc can be transfered pretty easy but u lose comment and post history. Transferable account preferably through just having a private key that identifies/authes u would be awesome tho.
