Same as Siri when she was new :)
I never quite got that. Apple boys and commercials alsways treated siri like that smart, super useful thing that can answer questions and is basically a thinking being. In reality it's some speech to text google machine that can do a few things sometimes. Same with the android equivalent, i use it to set a timer while cooking, for the life of me i can't imagine using it for anything else.
Unit conversion, weather info, set reminders, control music...
These. Also, random celebrity factoids (height, married, dead, etc), how long to get to some town you've never heard of, basic math that I'm too lazy to do myself.
Sometimes making it meow to confuse my cat.
Is "Hey Siri, skip this track" really any better than just, reaching up and tapping your earphone?
I usually listen to music on some Google home device, so it works for me. Or if I'm cooking and have dirty hands.
Of course when I'm commuting I just control it on the earphone.
I don’t think there are very many “Apple boys” that actually think Siri is good. Haven’t been for many many years.
Siri is ok for simple tasks, like timers, directions, media controls, accessing contacts, or transcription. Beyond the that, it’s famously shitty. Apple communities have been ranting about Siri for the better part of a decade now.
Were all iOS 5 Siri requests manually answered by Susan Bennett, the original voice actor?
