MODERATORS
It isn't so much that they broke the fallout London mod as much as it is that they broke the Script Extender mod that all of the really good mods hard require.
Because that mod hooks into the executable and every time they patch the game, the executable changes, requiring a new version of that mod.
Serious question, if I made a game. Then someone took my game and modded it into a different game, and made money off it while cutting me out, you damn right I'd shut that shit down. Why is bathesda wrong?
Because Bethesda isn't being cut out of anything. You still need to buy the original game to use mods. And most mods are made using the official modding tools that Bethesda released (Creation Kit).
Who is making money from mods?
Having a patreon is reasonably common nowadays, actually locking content behind it is not common.
How does that corpo shoe taste?
Lol it's video games dude. Don't play video games if you don't like corporations. Everything gaming related is made by corporations, from the hardware to the software. This isn't the place for your moral, anti capitalist grandstanding, while you play video games created by capitalists.
