Posts must be:

  1. Links to news stories from...
  2. ...credible sources, with...
  3. ...their original headlines, that...
  4. ...would make people who see the headline think, “That has got to be a story from The Onion, America’s Finest News Source.”

Comments must abide by the server rules for Lemmy.world and generally abstain from trollish, bigoted, or otherwise disruptive behavior that makes this community less fun for everyone.

It's a shame that game still uses Denuvo. Would have really liked to play it. :(

Nothing is permanent

It will get cracked eventually, and it's morally justified to crack (only) DRMed games because it may eventually pressure companies to back off

On the flip side, never pirate DRM free games, reward the developer for not being a shithead

Denuvo is notorious for being hard to crack. Apart from a group that cracked the FIFA games, basically only one person managed to crack that DRM. Unfortunately, she's a deranged nutter.

On the flip side, never pirate DRM free games, reward the developer for not being a shithead

I respect your stance. However I kind of disagree on that absolute statement.
