That’s rich coming from an American but I’m also surprised these haven’t become a thing here yet. Americans love convenience over everything, including human (or animal) dignity.

We prefer our hardboiled eggs de-shelled and single packaged in plastic in order to maximize waste, thank you very much!

Don't forget the pre-peeled citrus fruits sold in plastic containers!

You mean those little plastic containers with grapefruit or tangerines in checks notes artificially sweetened water?

I suppose the single serving version IS a bit wasteful but other countries do have those as well, they’re just slightly larger and come in tin cans instead.
