I have seen a lot of the village signs being upside down here in the french pyrenees. I was wondering if that was just some guy having fun, is it a national sport or some village rivalry? I think i have seen this elsewhere in france too, but here it seems very prevalent.

Farmers have been protesting everywhere, they've turned signs upside down here and there as a way to raise awareness. Probably more in rural areas, obviously.

Not sure if for solidarity or just a case of not caring enough, but some places have not fixed the signs since. I know there are a few left in Britanny too.

Oh ok, thank you. I think i kinda liked my ignorance better, imagining it was something funnier than that. But that is now gone 😆
