It feels like a lot of the comments I've seen surrounding this game have been quite negative. The first few Silent Hill games are really special to me and I'm honestly really looking forward to this remake. But, I've found that in general I am far more receptive to remakes than it seems a lot of the vocal fans, of any series. Personally, I find that a game that's just a complete redo of the original is not nearly ever as interesting to me. If I want to experience the original, I'll just go play the original. I'm fine with changes and tweaks and re-imaginings.

I think the game looks really promising from what I've seen so far, I can't wait for Silent Hill to make me hide under my covers again!
