This actually works. It managed to boot Debian on an iPad Air. It’s really slow though.

Jup, still no JIT allowed on iOS, so it's interpreted.

They fact they can "allow" anything is the problem in full.

True, especially since JIT is even forbidden outside the App Store via (EU) side loading.

What generation iPad Air? I tried it on my phone and it only booted to Grub for some reason.
