to be fair, americans aren't known for their sharpshooting.

Took the invention of the repeating rifle to win the west.

Which movie was it (maybe naked gun?) where it's a 5 minute hallway shootout and none of the cops could hit anything.

Star Wars. They were part of the rebel alliance and traitors to the empire. But, the cops couldn't hit anything until one of them broke out a shotgun loaded with heat-seeking shot and fired it point blank. Don't judge too harshly. They can't see a thing in those helmets.

If the pen is mightier, Indy, then the touchscreen keyboard is our elegant weapon for a more civilized age. Obviously it's not going so well. Be happy we've some blasters and expertise laying around. It's good peace of mind.

To be fair, the utter ruins of our public education system we traded for capitalist tax cuts ensures Americans aren't known for our sharp anything.

They would have won the drive by and the Pray and spray events. Or if you had an event where the targets were school kids

Or Las Vegas crowds. It's pretty wild how the Vegas lobby has completely suppressed the memory of the worst mass shooting in US history.

What does that even mean? Clearly you and I remember it at minimum. What would you expect to be done differently?
