it's on average. also, 100 minutes is not 1 hour, it's 1 hour 40mins.

Get extra rekt.

PS : 100 mins is one metric hour, but we're not on metric time

"The next hour or so" both accounts for the variance and is more concise than saying "the next hour and forty minutes, give or take"

But now I want metric time, that sounds nice actually.

Not that nice, 10 is only divisible by 2 and 5 while 12 is divisible by 2, 3, 4 and 6 and 60 is also divisible by 5, 10 and 12 so there are actually some good reasons to keep time the way it is.
