I'm so excited for the 2.0 update. Each of these FFF posts make me realise how much amazing QOL is possible.

With this one, the pump filter mechanic was the one that got me the most excited. Because in theory I could mix my liquids in a common tank by my train station for simplicity, then pump them into separate tanks when they go to be processed.

The whole belt reader also looks really nice, and I'm sure will unlock some useful new circuit tricks.

Fluid networks don't allow mixed fluids though. How would you mix in the tank?

I wonder if there's a mod that allows that. Hopefully complete with a mechanic where mixing the wrong fluids can cause catastrophic exothermic reactions.

The game used to let you do that, it was a nightmare since there wasn't any warning when connecting pipes.

More like the same tank could buffer whatever is on the train and then split out immediately.

Oh, right. Duh.

Good idea, thank you.

Instead of playing factorio 2.0 for 24 hours a day, I'll have to find a way to play it for 48 hours a day. The. Factory. Must. Grow.
