surreal war (sh.itjust.works)

title is the prompt :/

when i heard a journalist from Jerusalem describe the attack of saturday night as "surreal", i thought "surreal" was a lazy choice to describe an almost war. Then i wondered what a surreal war would look like.

if you're young and/or unfamiliar with the artistic movement "surrealism", my thoughts may sound misplaced. Rewind a hundred years in that case

this year France became the 2nd biggest arm seller, after U.S. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Some people make shameless amounts of money from this stupid appetite for hate and destruction

An awesome image.

How cool would it be if we all had a bunch of "giant self-expanding bubblegum-like sentinels" that would seek, adsorb and neutralize all weapons, missiles, artillery, etc? Making all wars/conflicts intractability impossible to wage.
