They should stand up for themselves which should in theory help pirates
They do stand up for themselves. Meaning, their bottom line.
Why would they? They own a controlling interest in multiple studios/production companies. If not directly then through other investments like hedge funds etc.
Now if SAG-AFTRA decided to start their own studio that would be cool.
They're getting sued though. They don't need to stand up for us; them not taking shit is just acting as cover for us
They will not because it wouldn't be profitable to them.

They're working together because they're part of the same machine
Out of those four, Cox is the one seemingly being the one who's combative. The other three will fold easily and are complicit with any demand the studios have done.
So it is very hard to imagine, really.
