Some of the assets look clearly similar to the ones in Stardew Valley, while some are completely different. It's... interesting to see.

I love the idea of backyard chickens. My parents got some in my childhood; and it allows you to get farming mechanics in a non-farm game.

Yeah it looks a bit off. I kinda wish he would have started from scratch with a new art direction. Some of the UI elements don't mix well in my opinion.

I thought Concerned Ape was the sole developer of Stardew Valley?

This guy, Arthur Lee, worked on 1.4 and 1.5.

Barone also got help with the ports. So while he did most of the work and it’s his brainchild he wasn’t the only person that touched the project.
