moderation buddy, you just overcorrected a little.

Same thing happened to me. Except now I'm old and have had no fun experiences in life because all I do is work and shitpost on Lemmy. Never been on a plane or gone on a vacation. Foreveralone single while my bank account keeps growing larger. Hell my will has my estate being donated to my local library because I don't even have friends anymore to leave it to.

[–] SacralPlexus@lemmy.world 16 points 11 hours ago (2 children)

Might I suggest you take a vacation now?

[–] BigBananaDealer@lemm.ee 3 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

when i saw a question mark i thought you were going to ask for the estate

That was an option?! ^/j^

I wouldn't even know where to begin. I'm terrified of crowds and enclosed spaces, so a plane is out. I've been spending a lot of time outdoors, though, and that has been nice.

Then go by car (if u don't see that as enclosed)? One doesn't need to circumvent the globe to travel.

National parks are amazing

Sounds like you don't have any worldly desires. Maybe consider making some bad decisions and ruining your life.

I've been talking with a poly couple on the other side of the state and I'm planning to take a train ride to get, well, "train rode". Does that count?

I like to work sometimes. Most of the time I prefer not to work, though. Money though, I do like that.

Haters abound. Always. Everywhere. Keep your head up and your ears closed, and trek on one foot in front of the other.

It's almost as if there was some kind of zone of moderation distancing from which may be considered inadequate

[–] Obi@sopuli.xyz 7 points 19 hours ago

This is kind of reminding me of addiction, it's the same pattern of either doing it to 100% or not at all, there's no moderation possible. Usually if you're predisposed to that you'll bring that pattern into everything in your life not just substances (but probably mainly substances).

Also they 100% talk about their job all of the time and it's the entirety of their personality.

Fuck the haters and do what you want

I think 4chan needs some kind of online university with classes for writing and grammar. They could call it chanacademy.

[–] 0laura@lemmy.dbzer0.com 33 points 1 day ago

First [Goldilocks] tasted the porridge of the Great Big Bear, and that was too hot for her. Next she tasted the porridge of the Middle-sized Bear, but that was too cold for her.

[–] echodot@feddit.uk 16 points 21 hours ago

Then, she gave up and complained on the internet asking what the hell is wrong with porridge?

[–] feedum_sneedson@lemmy.world 5 points 21 hours ago

Oh you mean Daddy and Mummy bear, those particular bears were a hetero-normative family unit. Not that there's any problem with alternative lifestyles.
