If you haven't played it, you really should give it a try. It is one of the most creative games I have ever played and is now one of my favorite pieces of fiction ever. This game is the game that made me take visual novels seriously. Before this I just though they were all typical, anime-esque romance stuff. I want to try more of this stuff.

I also heavily recommend it. But you need to play at least your first run blind; no spoilers, no "I'll watch the let's play to see how it is", no info. Then you get the full vibe of the game.

I second this, it's best experienced without any spoilers or prior knowledge. And that's coming from the guy who usually checks the ending of the thing he wants to try out (yeah I am weird like that).

I really liked it too. Glad it's getting an "extended edition" later this year, because I wish it had more paths.

It's getting an extended edition? I didn't even know about that, that sounds awesome! I'll be all over it once it drops for sure, I wonder if any of the new routes will be able to become my new favorites.

Yup! Not only will they add new paths, they'll expand on existing ones. https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1989270/view/3898492545021411188?l=english

If you haven't, look up Nicole Goodnight once you've seen it. She's the Princess and there's also a run where the team involved did a playthrough with live VA. Fun watch.

Thanks for the recommendation, she seems really cool. I'll watch some of her streams for sure. The play through with love VA as well.

I'm a cheapo, so I'll wait for a sale, but yes, it looks really good. I definitely want to pick it up at some point.

I finished it in 12 minutes. Easiest game i've ever played

Good, now do it again.

[–] simple@lemm.ee 3 points 10 months ago

I almost got the "good ending" on my first try too. Shame I just had to inspect her.
