It's weird how they simultaneously deny their atrocities while celebrating them. They really think the world is as pliable and submissive as their puppets in Western media.

I mean so far we haven't given them much reason to think otherwise.

I mean... It s not like we don't see history repeating itself right now with radicals gaining popularity and power using antisemitic tendencies of the voters. I don't think last time it happened it ended so well for israel and they certainly aren't helping themselves

There aren't many Jewish people here so by proxy I've never seen antisemitism in person. I'm not well-placed to talk at all.

That said, it's hard not to wonder whether the term antisemitism isn't being used abusively...

In my country there is a party led by a guy famous mostly for putting out Hannukah candles in parliment using a fire extinguisher. His party is above the electoral threshold (5%) and he got 4th in presidential elections. Other parties think it is a good idea to try to appeal to his voters. I don't have much hope left for... Anything related to politics

Oh boy why are people like this.

Why is Israel censored? Why is IDF misspelled?

Israeli Occupation Force. They are not being very defensive these days.

Agree with the message here, but I wish they wouldn't do the racist big nose thing.

(Also, censoring "Israel" isn't going to make it go away.)

Buttt Hhhhamassss!

[–] eldavi@lemmy.ml 10 points 2 months ago

we wouldn't have known it were happening if it werent for the soldiers and their victims.

[–] itslilith@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 2 months ago

This really didn't need the big nose. Using antisemitic tropes in critique of Israel plays right into the hands of their propaganda. Those genociders want to be the victims, so any critique can be stamped as antisemitism. Don't play their game.

idiots are so detached from reality that they think they can change the mind of someone who opposes genocide by bombarding google with stupidest "ads" of the form "Israel actually cares, you see we gave water to them whereas international charities only feed hamas"
