ESTONIA IS THE GREATEST COUNTRY ON EARTH, BORDERS FROM THE BALTIC SEA TO THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA, MOUNT EVEREST AIRBASE, NORTHERN IRAN AND THE ARTIC, ILLEGAL TEHRAN REBELS AND FAKE MONACO WILL HE DESTOYED.

France, is nice that I'm nowhere near France

This is like the exact prompt LLMs were made to handle

[–] aasatru@kbin.earth 5 points 1 day ago

Still a pretty big hurdle for most bots that just aimlessly flow through the webs trying to sign up for things. I don't think anyone will bother tailoring their bot for europe.pub.

Putting the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy between the question and the answer field might further confuse LLM outputs. :)

Should just be "to prove you are human tell us how many 'r's are in strawberry"

[–] Klear@quokk.au 26 points 2 days ago (1 children)
[–] Zorque@lemmy.world 8 points 2 days ago

Strawbrerry!

[–] Vikthor@lemmy.world 9 points 2 days ago

Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out.

[–] Wild_Mastic@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago

Of course there are 2 'r's

[–] ademir@lemmy.eco.br 3 points 2 days ago

lol this works

Europe has so many treasures—it’s hard to choose just one! For example, I really admire Switzerland: not only is it stunning with its snow-capped Alps and crystal-clear lakes, but it also has a long tradition of neutrality and diplomacy, helping foster peace in a region with such a rich and complex history. It’s a place where natural beauty and human cooperation come together beautifully.

... that's obviously AI!

a long tradition of neutrality

Lol. Nobody ever talks about the Swiss concentration camps. Or the jewish refugees the gave back to the Nazis.

Anyone that says Switzerland and doesn't talk about their Nazi gold isn't human

one good thing about europe is the fact that my dog lives there. she's a good girl.

[–] 30p87@feddit.org 33 points 2 days ago (2 children)

"Europe is very efficient at killing humans."

[–] dual_sport_dork@lemmy.world 22 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Taken as a whole from a historical standpoint this is certainly so, current events notwithstanding. I predict a lot of salty people reading your comment are going to studiously ignore the fact that Europe as it stands now has been shaped pretty much purely by thousands of years worth of wars, which required the invention of all kinds of weapons and warfare tactics. And that's before the European powers took all that on the road in the colonial era.

Unless they're like right wing or nationalist, people are in general not in denial about our past. More or less the same as in other countries

Most countries have done horrible shit, and it sucks a whenever it gets denied

[–] 30p87@feddit.org 8 points 2 days ago

Also, there's a reason why Europe is called a fortress. And it's not because fascism and totalitarianism is blocked out by any means, but instead humans in need.

[–] remon@ani.social 1 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

You can't just give the credit to all of Europe here, the Germans have really been carrying.

[–] Kirk@startrek.website 17 points 2 days ago (4 children)

my instance required me to name a food from star trek lol

[–] thegr8goldfish@startrek.website 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

You could probably name any race from Trek and justify them as Gorn food.

[–] GreenShimada@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

I really wish SNW would have an awkward "don't ask" conflict with the TOS Gorn and SNW version like DS9 did with Klingon makeup. Maybe they did and I missed it.

[–] stormio@lemmy.ca 7 points 2 days ago (3 children)

I would expect a Star Trek instance to be the most welcoming to non-humans. I'm a Star Trek fan, but I honestly wouldn't be able to answer that question without looking it up.

Fr, if earl grey doesn't count I'm lost

[–] GreenShimada@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

TEA! EARL GREY! HOT!

Cellular peptide cake with mint frosting

[–] Kirk@startrek.website 5 points 2 days ago

Non humans yes, non persons...?

[–] spankmonkey@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

"Durian fruit because they have replicators that can make anything."

[–] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

That's a war crime, not a food.

[–] toast@retrolemmy.com 2 points 2 days ago

What AI wouldn't know about tribbles?

[–] marcos@lemmy.world 11 points 2 days ago

It's a very beautiful moon. Too bad one needs a telescope to see it.

[–] marighost@piefed.social 8 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Europe doesn't have a dumb fuck toddler for a president.

[–] Pro@reddthat.com 17 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

Got something little bit worse.

"Europeans are excellent collectors"

[–] underline960@sh.itjust.works 5 points 2 days ago

This could unironically be an okay prompt, depending on what kind of users you want to gatekeep.

The bots will hallucinate statistics and travel brochure copy.

The real ones will say nothing beats a jet2 holiday.

Sweden is kind of awesome!

Danish pancakes are amazing!

[–] Quill7513@slrpnk.net 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

norwegian waffles are severely underrated

[–] jordanlund@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Æbleskievers for the win!

[–] frank@sopuli.xyz 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Æbleskiver is plural, æbleskive would be singular. No s needed (but those look great!)

[–] jordanlund@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I'm a few generations removed from the homeland. :)

[–] frank@sopuli.xyz 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Looks like a fun festival! It's a weird juxtaposition to see, I like it. I'll find an æbleskiver stand eventually (more common in the winter) and snap a pic for comparison 🥳

[–] jordanlund@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

The festival is a hoot. I missed it this year, but each day focuses on a different country. Music, food, folkdancing, costumes, the works.

Europe is good at failing?
