it's like the Onion. it's really like the Onion. some of these you go, "hah ! could be the onion !" but this one, it really ought to be the Onion
My gut says when you have to say you are "the good guy" you are in fact "the bad guy."
I think we know what the next step is here. Mass shooters start using armed drones.
I'm not surprised. The only thing we're good at in this country is making weapons.
That's a bald faced lie. We're also good at producing food with a lot of calories and no nutritional value.

Honestly there are aspects about this that I like. In the vein of bomb defusal robots being obviously good. But with, you know, current politics and our chronic issues, it just feels sinister.

Gen Alpha is screwed even more than gen Z
While getting into an arms race with school shooters is kind of a ridiculous path, I do wish we would take this opportunity to develop personal force field/shield technology like they have in Dune.
