In the US we have two viable political parties.
One is ultra right wing fascist authoritarian.
The second is conservative neoliberal corpo-cratic.

No wonder I've been more or less depressed my entire adult life.

This felt vile just to read through. And using Mamdani as a case for dropping LGBT support is emotionally offensive in a way that's hard to put to words.

Extra vile considering Mamdani's still super popular and the election hasn't even happened. Reminds me of the blue push to act like progressivism is done and support right wing pieces of shit like gavin newsom when the party's rightward shift has demonstrably been incredibly unpopular and has cost them multiple elections

It's not loading for me–but holy shit.

Ah yes I'm sure moving further towards the authoritarian right will really get your constituents to care about you. Silver lining is that if we somehow survive the Reich, we may end up with another party switch.

It's not working in Germany and the UK so surely it will work in the US for some reason!

Its not doing the stated thing–It is working.

I always thought that either the republican party would split into fascist and ultra-fascist, or democrats would go far-right. So glad I get to see both while they all unite against anyone and anything to their left :D
