This is what he's been doing for years with us, but as Trump has fallen under the malaise of the Dark Lord and his countenance grown dim, Miller has been able to pump the gas harder on his own plans. That's why so much batshit stuff is going on lately, it's mostly Miller and likely a few other corpo-fascists around him just high on power and drugs, lots of drugs.
He isn't smart enough to understand that it strips away the civility that protected him.
Also, we can't do a civil war even if everyone wanted it, we don't have clear lines and we don't have separate militaries. What Trump/Miller is gambling with is a an armed coup so he can deploy deadly force and start doing what Miller in particular has been thirsting for ever since the first time his mother tried to drown him.
