Self-professed misogynist influencer Andrew Tate believes reading is for people with “slow brains,” according to a recent resurfaced clip of him on X. In the video, Tate is seen bragging that his brain is too advanced for reading and that he’d rather be in constant chaos.

“I’m too smart to read. I know you’re sitting there going ‘smart people read’... no. I need action. I need constant chaos in my life to feel content. I need to be driving a supercar and f—ing fighting, f—ing a bunch of hoes and champagne… going crazy.”

Stop make stupid people famous. Negative attention is also attention.

Too smart to live, too, but too dumb to die.

[–] NotASharkInAManSuit@lemmy.world 3 points 49 minutes ago

[–] Taleya@aussie.zone 1 points 2 minutes ago

[–] hector@lemmy.today 2 points 16 minutes ago

Isn't that convenient. Yeah well I'm too smart to listen to Andrew Tate so I really can't say.

[–] unemployedclaquer@sopuli.xyz 1 points 29 minutes ago

We need to drag this one out

[–] TigerAce@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 1 hour ago (2 children)

People bragging about how super smart they are usually lower the population average significantly.

[–] hector@lemmy.today 1 points 9 minutes ago

These people are just shameless manipulators of the stupid, which is the only form of intelligence our society really respects right now.

Ie, elon musk is a genius, why? Not for doing anything real, but for hyping the value of his stocks beyond any semblance of reason. The president, all the rw influencers, business dickheads, the quality they have that is valued is playing the population, no one cares if it's true, they care if they get enough people to believe it and therefore make money off of it.

Meanwhile people that actually invent stuff, that actually figure stuff out, aren't even celebrated, they are a cog in a machine under one of these confidence men, their contributions attributed to the Musks of the world. Nikola Tesla would not be respected if he was around today, just used and abused by these manipulators that would take all the credit.

"I’m, like, a smart person. I don’t have to be told the same thing in the same words every single day,"

[–] JcbAzPx@lemmy.world 32 points 3 hours ago

That's a strange way to confess to being illiterate.

[–] Jankatarch@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago

Pretty sure he needs opposite of "fucking fighting" after his last loss.

Also does he know textbooks exist?

"I'm to smart to use my brain" says guy who is on the run from eastern european authorities.

I need constant chaos in my life to feel content. I need to be driving a supercar and f—ing fighting, f—ing a bunch of hoes and champagne… going crazy.”

[–] 58008@lemmy.world 34 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

I need action. I need constant chaos in my life to feel content.

This is the sound of deep, deep, profound, deep insecurity chasing a man down a never-ending alleyway peppered with neon signs that say "Unattractive to Women?", "Easily Bullied By Other Men?", "GAY???"

I hope he does serious prison time for his crimes, because it will be extra enjoyable knowing that it's literally the worst place he could ever find himself. No escaping one's own mind in that place.

[–] echodot@feddit.uk 7 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

Oh if he goes to prison he's going to get it. The guards will be taking bets on how long he lasts.

[–] hector@lemmy.today 1 points 7 minutes ago

He has money and political connections, he will get let off easy, and if a prison sentence at all will get VIP treatment, not the least in Eastern Europe.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 17 points 4 hours ago

Are you lost, friend? Forgot the community you're on?

[–] Someone8765210932@lemmy.world 1 points 31 minutes ago

Doesn't matter. You do realize this bastard is just rage baiting, right?

[–] TrickDacy@lemmy.world 19 points 5 hours ago

The rapist and sex trafficker said this? Crazy

[–] imetators@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 3 hours ago

Cool. He's in "not even hiding being a clown" stage.

[–] vmmv@lemmy.world 4 points 3 hours ago

We really have to let this turn decompose in prison. Why do we keep smelling this? Ahh right, that's the only reason for this shit to exist...

[–] Rooty@lemmy.world 40 points 7 hours ago (2 children)

Why are we paying attention to this clown, again?

[–] turboSnail@piefed.europe.pub 1 points 46 minutes ago

Clowns are funny... and scary. Strong emotions either way.

[–] chicken@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 4 hours ago

Because he keeps being enough of an embarrassing idiot in public to write roast articles about that can attract people's attention, I guess

They let the little shit out of prison then?

[–] starik@lemmy.zip 166 points 10 hours ago (5 children)

He certainly knows how to rage bait. We have to collectively learn to ignore this bullshit, and teach young boys the same.
