Today's game is **Halo 3 **. How many times have I played this now? Too many to count. I think this game has created a monster. I may not have been born playing Halo, but I will certainly die playing it.
I dragged some friends along to play the campaign. We were originally going to play Halo 3: ODST but someone was lacking it and one of our other players were on Xbox, so it narrowed the choice down to a single one. Halo 3.

Because of how much we've played this game we were basically able to navigate it on Normal like the back of our hand, minus that singular time we got lost and discussed how messed up It would be for an Elite to eat a human corpse.
We ended up half of the time just gunning each other down, like here where my friend went over the waterfall.

Being able to just dick around I think is part of what makes this game great. Like, yeah, you could play the game, or you could blow each other up or just fire at the same wall for 5 minutes straight and still have fun. It's sown a new kind of trust in me learning to trust my teammate won't blow me up at the last second for shits and giggles. We should make leaders play Halo Co-Op just to learn to trust each other a little better.
On a side note, I had a whole setup with OBS and an image grid for taking screenshots, but you know what I discovered? My monitor I bought purely for editing photos for my side hobby of photography? It has a fucking image grid built into it. Asus, I'm sorry, I assumed you were the Roseart of the Monitor world, but you are better than I thought. Rest assured I will be using this new image grid a whole lot more now.

We only made it as far as the second level, partly because the second level took 30 minutes just to get past purely because we made it a big slaughter fest, but I hope we'll be returning to finish this save. Maybe if I do this right I can get the last of my Halo 3 achievements besides the 3 hour legendary and LASO
