So if a couple froze 10 embryos, the first one successfully implanted...

Could they keep the other 9 on ice and claim 10 dependents in Alabama?

I'm not sure how the math works out, but they clearly didn't think this thru.

That's great!
I first thought of the other side. Facilities that keep embryos now are subject to all sorts of childcare regulations. Staffing ratios, food service, bedroom counts, all sorts of things.

No, everyone needs to pay their fair share of taxes. No freeloaders and no cheats gaming systems like unemployment! But remember, if a very wealthy individual says mean things that get you aroused and they game the system, it's financial smarts. And if tips go unreported for a person you resemble, that's just what everyone does. And if you time retirement/ss to double-collect benefits and pay, we'll you didn't write the rules, right?

"no, not like that"

They’ll just make the frozen embryos work at meat processing plants

Next "logical" step: periods are murder and shall be punished by Alabama as such.

Not only does it affect fertility care, but if a pregnant woman gets into an accident or suffers a complication during labor a doctor could in theory be held liable for not saving the baby, regardless of the outcome for the mother.

Judges should not be making broad rulings over technical matters they have no understanding about. It's shamefully unprofessional.

This really opens the doors for mass shootings at fertility clinics. The child density is way higher then traditional schools! /s

So, you get IVF, they fertilize 10 embryos, implant 2 and freeze 8. The two don't take, but you're now a mother of eight.

You go back, have 2 implanted. They don't take. You are now a mulitple child murderer.

Going this hard-core I guess the death penalty would be next.

Legislators plan to employ them in meat processing facilities no later than 2034.

Next step would be to get the child protection services to save those embryos and start an US American government-bred army.
