Stop laughing about the poor American’s educational system. It reads as if you have never visited a secondary school in your country in the last five years. Shit is hitting the ~~blackboards~~ screens

If we keep people too illiterate to read theory, we'll never have to deal with a revolution. Checkmate, commie.

All the memes of americans unable to read are because something happen? Or is just their actual leader?

I don't remember where I read it cause few years ago, but summarized, it said that 30-40% of Americans are functionally illiterate. I might also be confusing it with the number of unlicensed drivers, but either way, holy shit my country is cooked.

Unesco and more organitations say my country are 100% literate and know is not, I read countries like USA, France and UK dont take literate rates because they consider rich equal education, so maybe you right

Yeah, I red that, but still dont know if someone commented in response of the letter or is just the topic of the brutish american

there's plenty of people decrying the descent of critical thinking and media literacy skills and there seems to be a body of work supporting it.

neither are arenas that i know much about; but it's hard to deny it's trend by either reviewing that body or work or trying to understand why trump still enjoys 36% support of americans despite all he's done.
