If I understood well, AA centralize all the other pirate ebook providers, or is there anything different I can use to find ebooks?

If I didn't find a book on AA it very likely means the book isn't available anywhere?

MAM is probably the best place to find ebooks. they have a very comprehensive library.

I've been wanting to apply for an invite there for a while, but my ratio on my existing private tracker is dire since seemingly nobody fucking downloads anything. How harsh are the entry interviews?

AA has many books that are not on MAM and vice versa

I thought Z-lib was still the go to

Depending on where you live, you can borrow ebooks from regional libraries. In my case, those are veeeeeeery many and also they can mostly be stripped of DRM.

This! 🥳

Also, depending on your location, getting a library card doesn't require residence in its area. So, if your preferred library app shows a book/album/film, etc. isn't available digitally, check another major city's library catalog and sign up if they have it. Add that new login and boom. Bonus: each additional library membership makes that happen far less often. 🖖🏼

MAM is quite comprehensive in my experience.

Can you check for me if you can find the book 1984 in Brazilian Portuguese in .epub? My problem is that all the other sites provide only English books, except AA. Just for testing if is it worth it. I need to apply for invitation I just saw here.
