If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first ~~invent the universe~~ develop a beloved indie game.

I think inventing the universe is easier

How can you tell, with that few pixels?

Was actually listening to stardew music on Spotify the other day, and was surprised when I saw ConcernApe currently on tour, didn't expect him of all to be touring. But good on him, his music is great!

This actually makes sense. There is so much music than an artist really needs something special to help them stand out and get noticed. Maybe that’s a rich parent, industry connections, a lucky break, or a hit video game.

Also known as the Daisuke Ishiwatari method.

Stardew Valley has some really amazing music. I think ConcernedApe is both amazing musician and an amazing game developer.

Well that'll get the job done. Now we get to appreciate the game and music at the same time

I think it was _why the lucky stiff who suffered a breakdown about legacy and signed off the internet with the sentiment that, if you want your code to matter for any length of time, you should develop a video game. Interfaces and platforms and languages decay into irrelevance. People will upend heaven and earth to preserve games.
