Defensive like downvoting facts?

Yeah some urban preplanning didn’t work out but most of those cities are filled up to the point of working now.

I remember back then all those articles - “China is building empty cities! Ha ha so dumb! Who’s gonna buy that, they all work in factories!”

It’s pretty striking that an .ml user posted a comment defending a verifiable fact, and got 10 downvotes for being “uppity”. Oh, sorry for the Wikipedia link sir, I will think more about respect for all powerful America next time

You guys really need to clean out your brainworms sometime, this shit is embarrassing

Looks like I’ve got a project for next weekend

Don’t some ISPs (like Xfinity) already do this by making a second WiFi network so that anyone with their service can just roam between routers?

And if you think that’s all they do with that capability I’ve got a bridge to sell ya

No, see if it’s not the perfect solution to literally everything then it’s just not gonna work. /s

SMS 2FA is insecure and should be removed from everything. Use TOTP or a hardware key.

Other posters are right in that KVM is the same on just about every distro. Proxmox comes with extra tools for management and I think that makes it especially well suited.

If an attacker wants your encrypted data that bad, they will attack the running machine and use it to access the data, they will not steal a key and then attempt to physically remove the drive.

Drive encryption is for prevention of access when the drive is offline, it doesn’t protect a running system which can access that data.

If you are worried about the key being accessed while the machine is running, focus on hardening access to the machine via network, etc.
