that price [...] increases with inflation

While the vast majority of wages don't, not nearly enough to keep with inflation. Surely you can see the problem here, right? I agree with op that you should get a real job.

But yeah, putting the blame on individual landlords isn't very productive. The core issue here is the capitalist system that allows landlords to exist in the first place.

Does anyone base their lives and their worldviews around the simulation theory?

Tolerance is a social contract not a right. If you are tolerant, you earn tolerance for yourself. If you are intolerant, you don't deserve tolerance yourself.

I've never heard it said that way. This is a fantastic way to put it.

For the lazy:

After some careful consideration, I have decided to block threads.net on pixelfed.social and .art by default

However, users will have the ability to unblock the domain

Soon we will be selectively enforcing authorized fetch for accounts with domain blocks so as to provide the best of both worlds.

(I'm also shipping a command for :pixelfed: admins to easily add user domain blocks for all local users)

I'm eager to hear your feedback!

The pro version is just official support service from the company. That's how FOSS has always been monetized, no?

Seems like a good deal for people completely unfamiliar with Linux who just want a cheap OS and help to keep it running.
