The balkanization is a massive problem though because instead of one, active, community we have 3 or 4 dead ones. There needs to be a critical mass of users before communities can afford to start splintering, and that just isn't here.

Sliding the deer under your car is also really bad for you. It's going to do a lot of damage under there such as ripping break lines, destroying ball joints, or fragging your differentials. You need to safely shed as much speed as possible while maintaining your lane when about to hit a deer.

You absolutely need to hit the brakes, but don't swerve. A deer weighs over 200lbs and will likely crash into your windshield if you hit it head on. You need to safely loose as much speed as you can because even a side hit on the deer is likely to wreck your axel and prevent you from driving.

Absolutely not true. No amount of speed is going to keep you safe if you strike an animal on a bike. You're better off slowing down so that you have less momentum when you wreck. Drivers should be giving you enough space (even though they rarely do). A deer weighs more than a grown man and will kill you if you hit it at highway speed. A dog will take out your front wheel and cause you to wreck whether you hit it at 15mph or 80mph.

Yeah, the early Internet didn't require 5 tons of coal be burned just to give you a made up answer to your query. This bubble is Pets.com only it is also murdering the rainforest while still be completely useless.

So it's still not surprising since ChatGPT doesn't give you factual information. It just gives you what it statistically thinks you want to read.

Idk what the official term i theological circles is, but many groups had trouble squaring the circle between the wrathful and jealous god of the Old Testament with the god of mercy and love Jesus preached. Many groups, such as the Gnostics and later Cathars, rejected the god of the Old Testament as an evil fraud.

It's absolutely a meaningful distinction. Search engines push people to tour website where you can capitalize on your audience however you see fit. LLM's take your content, through them through the mixer and sell it back to people. It's the difference between a movie reviewer explaining a movie and a dude in an alley selling a pirated copy of the movie.

Aside from cosmetic upgrades, all Teslas are essentially the same, just with certain features disabled/pay walled. So your base model 3 has the exact same battery as the top of the line version because it is cheaper to manufacturer them all that way.

Because they weren't willing to open themselves up to the lawsuits for rushing a half baked autonomous driving function. Their systems likely work just as well as Tesla's, which is why they wont advertise it as full self driving because it kills people.

There probably wasn't even anyone who actually wrote it. Fed it into some LLM to generate the page and no one actually edited it to make sure everything made sense

Setting something up is literally the worst part of anything you buy that isn't a lego/model kit. No one is excited to set up a new TV, phone, or computer because it takes forever and prevents you from doing wha you actually want to do with the damn thing.
