I really enjoy quite a bit of the Guardians coverage. Their staff editorial department is often infuriating to the point I often wonder if they actually work for a different news agency.

I don't think there is a middle ground between a VPN and Tor.

As much as I don't like Brave this seems like a good feature. There do seem to be some problems with it leaking in some circumstances though.

For the curious, Brave page about private windows with Tor Here

And getting more press about privacy related things, and why they're important is always good to see.

Number 1 comment is

Reddit ain't going anywhere fast.

If r/selfhosted has to rely on reddit as it can't be fucked selfhosting, what chance do other subs have.

I have found Lemmy selfhosted communities excellent, they are not a large as Reddit but there are plenty knowledgeable people, often seflhosting their own little reddit.

This article is based on a report from the Independent https://www.independent.co.uk/travel/news-and-advice/china-hypersonic-flights-speed-concorde-b2051192.html nowhere does it say they have completed a test flight.

The brand Space Transportation, also known as the company Beijing Lingkong Tianxing Technology, has released an animated video which shows how its proposed “space flights” might look

New communities pop up, and older ones that didn't have many posts sometimes get revived. So if I have the time and inclination I look at All after my Subscribed.

It might depend on the specific Android flavor. I tried that on an old phone, and while I could disable the actual Google search (tapping in the search bar did nothing) I could not remove the search bar. I also could not find a way to have it open my preferred search engine.

The only time I make my bed is when I change the sheets. That's once a week, and I only make it then because my mother instilled it in me.

Not making it everyday saves time but more importantly airs everything out and deprives bacteria of moisture. That, makes it less stinky and lets my bedding last longer.

I sleep hot, it doesn't matter what the ambient temperature is. Vermont in winter? Heating is off in my bedroom, and I have a leg out.

Edit: seems like this isn't unpopular. It was a random thought that popped in my head. Everyone I have explained this to thinks it's weird.

I understand the tidy thing, everything else in my bedroom is quite tidy, my life really, with the notable exception of my thought processes.
