I’ve nothing against Sony, but I want some of these companies to lose some of these cases just to remind them that we should own what we buy.

If they could let you create real polls to vote, it would be nice too.
Right now I think you can only react with a thumb up or a thub down.
Well it happened to me mostly in technology communities where my job as a police man in a country without too much corruption was giving me a different point of view than people who were seeing a corrupt government spying on them all the time.
Yeah to be honest it’s true that I’ve only seen lefties. I’m sometimes on the left side and sometimes on the right side, but it’s crazy how you can’t really express an opinion without being insulted or other things..
I don’t see in what way having a PSN account would make Horizon Zero Dawn safer on PC.
But I also wouldn’t mind so much if the few PC games I’d buy from Sony were linked to my PSN account as I’ve been a Playstation gamer since the first console.
Still, I wouldn’t want every publisher to require an account to play..
Yeah there are clearly some toxic people who won’t tolerate anything different than them. They can be leftists or rightists who are gonna hate you for whatever reason.
I didn’t have this feeling on reddit to be honest.
And it’s a shame because I’m censoring myself because of this on some subject where I could bring another point of view.
I have one and it works almost flawlessly on Fedora without the surface kernel.
The only issue is that my bluetooth mouse takes time to be detected.
Also it’s tricky to make the Surface Go boot a Usb Drive if I remember correctly.
If only the GAFAMS could stop getting money from taxpayers! It would be a big start and then it would just be the individuals who would decide to support by buying their products or not.
Turned my shitty Intel Atom 32-bit laptop with just 1GB of RAM into a useful lightweight workstation
I also have an old shitty computer from Acer with 4gb of RAM lying around.
I feel a bit guilty about not using it, but I’m already sharing my time between my Surface Go 1 (daily driver) and my girlfriend’s 2012 MacBook Pro, so I wouldn’t know what to do with it.

I have a finely tuned Fedora 40 image that I cloned using Clonezilla (see: https://sh.itjust.works/post/25762756)
I wanted to deploy it on my old Acer Aspire 5737z but it won’t boot. It’s just displaying a — on a black screen for hours.
I’m not so knowledgeable but I guess it means I would have to reinstall the GRUB or whatever.
I’ve booted into my Fedora Live USB and tried the lsblk command people were talking about on the web (I don’t understand the terminal). Here's the result.
I think the SDA disk is the one I would like to boot from.
Can anyone help me understand what I have to do 😇🙏

A few days ago, I had a problem while trying to run KDE and Gnome as DE on Fedora 40. That problem was solved (see crosspost), but now, I can't update Fedora anymore as it says "the transaction did not complete" and I can't install or uninstall anything as it says I don't have space on my disk (which is not true).
Does anyone have an idea what to do?
Edit: apparently dnf clean and dnf clean all solved the problem, so thank you everyone as I was kind of panicking when I thought about all the work involved into having my perfect install again.

Today I tried to install KDE alongside Gnome to give it a try on Fedora on something else than a virtual machine.
For a reason I can't understand, the terminal couldn't finish the installation of KDE as something failed. Despite all of this, all the KDE apps were installed and Plasma is appearing as an option on the login screen under Gnome and Gnome Classic. Still I couldn't launch KDE plasma and nothing was happening after typing my login.
I took it as a sign that KDE isn't for me, especially because I'm 99% happy with Gnome.
So I removed KDE via the terminal and the remaining apps via the software center. Sadly, there is one app called "Centre de bienvenue" or "Welcome center" from KDE that I can't remove. Nothing is happening when I try removing it.
I tried removing it via the terminal, but when I type "dnf list installed" I can't find it as there are too many packages. Could anyone help me?
I also tried « dnf list installed » with the words « welcome », « bienvenue », « kde » and « plasma ».
