Thanks.

The poems is actually just dictionary definitions for the word pitch, but I found they fit the theme I was going for perfectly.

as in to plunge
to cast oneself head first into deep water
when a wave hit the float, I lost my balance and pitched into the lake

as in to throw
to send through the air especially with a quick forward motion of the arm
pitched the baseball almost 50 feet

as in to sway
to make a series of unsteady side-to-side motions
the ship pitched in the choppy sea

as in to dump
to get rid of as useless or unwanted
we decided to pitch that whole system and start over again

the degree to which a sound or a musical note is high or low:
The piano and organ were tuned to the same pitch.

pitch.

Is the link not working for anybody else?

News flash genius, they don’t need to hack my router to see my Google search history. Google will happily provide that to them.

The dangers of a man in the middle attack extend far beyond viewing my Google searches and I have more to fear from a foreign adversarial state actor infecting systems across my country than I do one allied with my own.

But at the end of the day, both are unwanted.

It also enables innocent people to be protected from foreign governments.

The FBI has no power to arrest me, because I don’t live in America.

And China has the power to fuck over your infrastructure in case of a war breaking out. Or would you like to see what a Stuxnet could do to your nuclear power plants?

Or just not operating under a capitalist model.

Which has many other benefits as well. Who wants perpetual class war.

What a horrible article.

It explains more about what the EU policy and mentions zero details of what this code entails, besides some companies saying it’s great news.

where did it all go wrong?

Capitalism is where.

It’ll always fight to go there, because least offered most gained is the name of the business.

Sure you can split them up and regulate them, that’ll last for a few years or decades but money is power and they will wield that power to undo it all again, time after time to seek profit.

The only solution is a system that doesn’t value capital.
