The age of the internet really left an impact. My name has an accent in one of the letters, there is no way I'm going to give my kid a name like that, just because Computers. Would have loved to use name.surname more but yea both are common so there are thousands of us, never been able to do that.

Thanks, I hope that's not the case, but if it is they can keep it, I'm not going to support those kinds of practices

Sad that they stopped this tradition

I know kids who's parents kept them away from computers growing up, where as I was allowed to play with computers and broke several by the age of 10.

Now I'm good with computers and have made a good career out of it, those kids who weren't allowed around computers aren't very computer literate, their parents definitely did them a big disservice.

Teach your kids a healthy ballance with new technology, but don't withhold it especially when their peers are all using it.

I've switched a few of my family members to Linux Mint, they like it
