TBF I would have much rather played 4 finished PoE games than watch them milk whales for a decade. No offense to people who speedrun both acts and maps, that shit takes massive skill, but it's not a game for the wider audience.

I've seen the overseas version of PoE and I'm not really convinced. If anything, Diablo 4 was chasing PoE's success.

I think they'll probably get billions in fines like FaceBook did, and have a repayment plan for decades. Or maybe they'll get forcibly unmerged, that could be fun.

Reminder that Apple has a well documented history of intentionally slowing down devices, reducing battery life artificially, and bricking jailbroken or even just lightly repaired phones. They're a malicious company that deserves to get reigned in.

AOSP Development was almost completely separated from the commonly distributed Android OS around version 2.2 in like 2010-ish, if I'm not mistaken. If you do get an OS built upon the old open source versions, they are usually quite secure and value privacy heavily, such as CalyxOS.

So no, Android is not Open Source nor is it free, but yes proprietary Android software has more potential vulnerabilities.

The fact that any nuclear power plant has ever ran anyways is because unspent nuclear materials were transported to the facility. We as a society should have the means to transport these things safely in large sealed containers. The only feasible downside to this idea is that the containers will eventually heat up, so chop fucking chop mates. Get it there.

Or just bury it miles underground in the desert, but for some fucking reason a state is as likely to store it upstream in a concrete shack as they are to ship it to the mojave where the pit is literally already dug out and designated.

I'm sure that given the 99.99% ethical nature of AI enthusiasts and users that they will absolutely comply with this voluntary identification! /sarcasm

People speaking out and getting mad is natural and helpful. It's how discourse works at this scale. Maybe the mods change their actions or maybe they don't, but saying nothing about bad things happening won't help anyone and getting mad that others are saying things is stupid.

That sounds like a problem for instances federated with Meta. Empathy is cool but they are not our problem.
