You said a free speech absolutist would stop operating in that country. I’m asking if you think that’s what they should have done here.

X operates in Turkey by giving Turkish users access to the site. They either follow Turkish law or they don’t serve Turkish residents.

They can of course fight any legal requests by the Turkish government - and oh look! They are!

You don’t think companies that operate in Turkey for Turkish citizens have to follow any Turkish laws?

Again - GDPR.

So you think the best way for a company to fight a government trying to eliminate free speech from their country is to…..checks notes…..remove their product that is used by millions from said country?

Not to take them to court to fight their attempts to stifle free speech, but to just……leave?

O……..k………..

So absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand, just ……… anything but communism is bad?

It wouldn’t surprise me if Reddit worked with OpenAI and Google and other AI companies to help them get the data they want by letting them manipulate subs.

Lidar does not help with seeing lane markers. At all. Radar can’t see painted lines on a road.

That looney tunes wall “test” was ridiculous and Rober was rightly raked over the coals and lost a lot of respect over it. It was basically a marketing stunt by his friends LiDAR company, and was full of dishonesty such as poorly photoshopped phones and lies such as not even using the self driving while smashing into the wall. These glaring flaws have been covered extensively.

I’m asking who’s labor is being exploited here?

Elon isn’t. X is.

I did answer your question. Last paragraph.

The Turkish government has legal authority over companies that are serving their citizens.

Why do you think the GDPR laws were such a big deal even outside of the UK?
