Gerudo
Real life Jake the dog
That's the best comparison I can think of.
It is turn based, something I wish FF would return to. There are quick time events for every action, it's not absolutely necessary to do on certain difficulty, but really helps. There is a dodge and parry mechanic that you really should use to help survive.
If you are a fan of turn based rpg, you should check it out.
Check out Expedition 33. It feels like a love letter to jrpg but without the time commitment.
I'm right with you on the other LiS series, except for the harbor one, I forgot the name of. None kept me engaged enough to finish.
Life is Strange
Spiritfarer
Titanfall 2
Hellblade
Red Dead 2
Hades
Oxenfree
Many more, but these stood out on actually caring about the characters and what happened to them.
I'm not apologizing for Windows here, but touchscreen has been natively supported since Windows 8, and has functioned way earlier than that.. It also isn't an issue on the ROG Ally, so I think Lenovo needs to work on the driver.

I can't keep going to the doctor with all this whiplash.
I guess I'm a weird one. I've saved so much money using Game Pass it's not even funny. Throw in the pc version, and I've saved even more. I can try so many different genres I wouldn't typically risk my money for. I have also avoided buying games I thought I would love but then ended up hating.
Looks like fitgirl will be getting my business instead
